Are selfish acts of kindness a thing? Are you nice because you like being nice or because it makes you feel good? Is it technically selfish if you get something out of it as well? As always, I like to share a bit about myself through this podcast in hopes that my stories can inform or inspire others. Suicide sucks. Losing somebody sucks. Sometimes that thought permeates our minds and in most cases, it will never get there. Sadly, we lose many people in our world to suicide. I have lost my own brother to it many years ago. It's an event that has permanently affected me and the way I approach difficult situations and tribulations. I hope that by shining a light on my story, that perhaps somebody out there who hears it may find more compassion for those who are suffering through depression, or maybe... just maybe, somebody who is considering taking their own life may reconsider that idea for something else.
