I've never understood how climbing the corporate ladder means being farther away from the thing that you were good at & knee deep in spreadsheets & fires & being your teams therapist.

I was a leader that fell flat on my face & was a real asshole in the process. Thought everyone should work like me & annoyed & irrated when they didn't.
