While 'feet' symbolize the act of physically moving to bring the Gospel to others, the initial step must first happen in our hearts. There are many temptations that surface to keep us quiet when it comes to proclaiming the Gospel, which is the power of salvation. Fear. What will the person hearing this message think of me? Will I get in trouble? Satan greatly desires to stop the Gospel that brings salvation from being proclaimed but we must first remember how sweet and transformative the Gospel has been in our own lives.
