In this episode, we talked about our experiences as new immigrants in America. We moved from Nigeria to the US over a decade/shy of a decade ago. The journey has been very interesting and eventful. As immigrants, regardless of where we live in the world, we all have shared experiences and similar stories of survival and integration into the country we settle in. Some of the major challenges we faced was adapting to a new culture, learning the language or in our case, "the accent", getting used to the weather, the food, the social norms, etc. It can often feel overwhelming and isolating especially as a newbie.
