  • Episode 35 –Podcast Blackout

This week I am simply reading the Wikipedia entries for several Black folks whose names we need to remember, and while this is not a complete list, I do provide as much of the story as necessary to drive home the point of why people not only in this country but all over the world are clamoring for massive changes to the policies and procedures of law enforcement. I play no music, nor do I play any ads.

  • Episode 34 –TIGHT Tights!

This week I am joined by Captain Andy Diceman, Jordan of Amalga-Mania's many offerings, and Leo, King of the Dorkening! We have a great time discussing Mel Brooks' 1993 film Robin Hood: Men in Tights, our experiences with the film, and some of the connections to other movies Mel has made over the years. I also intentionally aired this episode a day late because of the social media blackout that was occurring. I give some of my thoughts on that at the end of the episode, along with some harsh words for racists.

  • Episode 33 –Pawns in the Game of Life
This week I am joined by Parasite Steve of Retro Ridoctopus, Anthony T of Anthony T's Horror Show, and Isaac...of the local liquor store! These three gentlemen hop aboard the handcar and steer away from the quicksand to talk about one of the best comedies and best western films of all time - Blazing Saddles! From quotes to trivia to their favorite Mel Brooks movies, I get the most out of these gentlemen and we have a lot of fun reminiscing and quoting not only this but Mel's other films as well. There's also a new Dorkening ad and a brief review of the Tripwire Interactive game Maneater that ties in with my weekly Shark Fact.

  • Episode 32 –Quaran-teamwork!
This week I am joined by a quartet of fantastic ladies who are offering up some advice for how they are keeping themselves mentally healthy and sane while dealing with the restrictions imposed upon us by the guidelines that are affecting all of us. They each offer a unique perspective and share their day to day experiences as they try to maintain their personal routines while also attending college, raising kids, or dealing with not being able to do their job because of the need for social distancing. They also talk about the fact that no matter how strong you are, how independent you are, or are good you are at taking care of yourself, it's okay to ask for help. And don't compare your levels of productivity now to what they were three or six months ago because things are definitely not the same. All this plus a preview for the coming weeks, a new shark fact, and some new ads - and an upcoming contest!

  • Episode 31 –Old Man Powers
This week I'm joined by Old Man Wade and Powerful Brandon to discuss the characters we would like to see introduced into both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and DC Extended Universe, as well as the actors who we'd like to see bring those roles to life! In between the picks, there are jokes, inappropriate comments, and the occasional coherent thought. Or as we like to refer to it, "A typical conversation between the three of us". Join along as we pick popular and fringe characters that we'd like to see come to both the big and small screens, stay for the shark fact, and send in feedback to [email protected] to share YOUR thoughts as well!

  • Episode 30 –On a Roll With The Diceman!
This week I am joined by Andy Diceman from Epic Tales, a part of the Amalga-Mania group we all know and love! Andy is here to bring knowledge to the table and help teach those of us (like me) how we can start or maintain a Dungeons and Dragons (or really any RPG/tabletop game) group in the Days of Social Distancing. He gives us a variety of options not only for virtual meeting apps and software, but also ways to create and maintain characters, play games without dice or game manuals, and much more! He even kindles in me a desire to become a dungeon master, which I never knew I was interested in doing! All this plus a very positive message for those who aren't handling the isolation we're all faced with, with as much enthusiasm as they might like. All this and more on this week's episode!

  • Episode 29 –Hangin' with Mr. Cooper!
In this week's episode, I am joined by a good friend of the show, a good friend in real life and an all-around good dude, Justin Cooper! We discuss how we've been staying sane during the shelter at home quarantine times, how things are different, and what we've been doing to pass the time. We also go off on several tangents and derailments and cover a wide variety of topics from movies to comics to proper vaccination techniques. It's a great time of catching up, covering random topics, and hopefully providing a little bit of a break from monotony!

  • Episode 28 –We're A Quaran-Team!
This week I am a bit under the weather, thankfully it isn't THAT bad, but I give you a list of what I've been watching, and what I think you might like as far as movies are concerned, including a couple I had no idea even existed, and two that shouldn't exist based on the preceding titles. I also recommend a new YouTube channel for you to check out that actively encourages participation, and I point you toward a new article I've written - the first one in a while! I also, of course, give you a new shark fact and give you a little preview of what's coming in the next couple of weeks for not only THIS show, but also for Throwdown Thursday! All this and more on this week's episode!

  • Episode 27 –The Eye of the Tiger King
This week I am joined by Ashes von Nitemare to discuss the trainwreck that is Netflix's Tiger King. We try and highlight some of the most incredible and appalling people and events that the show brings to light, as well as speculate on some of the things we think might have gone on behind the scenes. We also discuss the few people we think are good, and sort of give a rundown on who the absolute worst is. All this, plus some previews of the upcoming Throwdown Thursday shows, a new shark fact and more!

  • Episode 26 –Streaming Suggestions for Solitary Season
This week I give you a few movie and TV recommendations to pass the time in solitary confinement, as well as some upcoming episodes of both this show, and Throwdown Thursday. There's also an invitation to participate in a live-tweet event taking place this weekend, so don't miss it!
