God is so gracious to us sinners that we get to live our lives for His glory forever! You can only serve one of two masters. If we serve sin, the wages that it pays are death. It gives an illusion of freedom, but it is a cruel taskmaster that always enslaves. But when we become servants of Christ, we now have life and true freedom. We don't have to live in the shame of the past; we have the blessing of having the Holy Spirit within us. We get to live our life in Christ, going a different direction. We can enjoy this gift and promise of God. Do you love Jesus and desire to be like Him? Follow Him and walk in the freedom He provides!

When Christ died, the veil of the Temple was torn in two, from the top to the bottom. This exposed the Holy of holies and removed the barrier that separated it from public access. The Temple and its accompanying worship appealed strongly to the physical senses. But we, as New Testament believers, have put away those childish things. The Levitical worship system was full of types and shadows that we don't need anymore, because we have Christ Himself. Let us pray for grace that we may be included among the number of His true worshipers.
