The party is hunkered down in Doogie's hideout awaiting his return with the gear he promised to get them. During this time they patch up their wounds. Upon Doogie's return the party heads out into the frozen wastes outside the city's walls. They quickly learn why the wasteland is so dangerous. 

After a fight with some wraiths, the party arrives at the Chapel Madame Qi had seen in her vision, and here within the abandoned sanctuary they find what they seek; a shard of the sun.
