We're back with up and coming HipHop and Rap artist, OG Denzo. Denzo lives in Chicago and is on his way to making it big in the music industry. This could not have come at a better time for us with everything that's going on in the world. Denzo and his friends may have gotten started in a basement with one computer, but his desire to create change through his music has helped him climb his way to the top. 

Today we sit down with Delanie Fischer. She is co-Host of Self-Helpess podcast (among other things), which is our first ever show we started listening to when exploring the world of podcasts. Delanie has been a huge inspiration to us starting our own pod so having her on was very special. In this episode we talk about Delanie's experience with feeling misguided and without direction. She touches on how she started living her life with intention and the difficulties that come with doing what's best for yourself. She explains that being honest with herself gave her the ability to prioritize her commitments and do only what truly aligned with her desires. She was able to leave her corporate day job and is now CEO of Dicks By Delanie, a creative consultant, and developer of the Thriving Artists course, all while co-hosting Self-Helpless. Jamie Heraver, founder of Orange County Literacy and Angel of the Animals, is our next guest on Shattering expectations. Having the opportunity to chat with Jamie was truly something special. Her story allows us to talk about the obstacles we face when pursuing our goals and the emotions that come with that. Orange County Literacy gives Jamie the opportunity to help others reach their true potential through education, discovering her passion for fulfilling this need while in college at Trinity International. Later, she founded Angel of the Animals, a not-for-profit whose focus is on animals in entertainment. Jamie recognized that these animals needed support after she herself had gone through struggles in life- she faced great loss during a time where she really had it all. Listening to Jamie's story, you will learn that what started as chasing her dreams in California turned into her climbing the ladder in the entertainment industry. She was on the water all day, her face was on the cover of magazines, and she had found a community through surfing. That world was turned upside down after a fateful back injury- not only was she no longer able to surf, but her tutoring side business also became a struggle. After life threw curveball after curveball at her, putting her in a place she wondered if she would ever come back from, she picked up her bible, dug deep into herself, and transformed her life. Revisiting her roots and discovering what truly makes her happy is the reason she's able to live a life she loves.
