When have you made something less safe... we don't, if there is a vulnerability, we make it harder for the next attacker, not easier. Think about it for a minute, if someone finds an easy way in, we make it harder for them the next time. Just because the number of attacks increases does not mean that you are getting in. It may simply mean that you can see better. We find out how the system was exploited, and we fix those exploits.
