Shaun & Lydia Happy Hour

We’re back for our annual recap episode featuring Daniyel Turner, longtime friend of the show. We reintroduce Daniyel and let him share about his time in the Bay Area and what’s next for him.

Then we get into our long-awaited albums of the year discussion, highlighting all the records that kept us moving forward. We transition into our favorite moments of the year including travel, concerts, and festivals. What a year for film?! Barbenheimer, Killers of the Flower Moon, and is superhero fatigue real? We’ve got a blockbuster-packed chat of the big screen’s big moments before gushing about some television standouts. The data is in…every second counted this year. Concluding the show with our hopes and desires for 2024. Check out each of our faves in the show notes below.

We're fortunate to have two of our best friends Madison and Clem in town from Brussels, Belgium to record this special podcast.

We recap our experience at North Coast Music Festival in Chicago, discuss their experiences in another country throughout this pandemic, and end on a brief discussion about 9/11, as we recorded on the 20th anniversary of those attacks on our beloved country.
