This week we’re joined by fellow bassist Shavo Odadjian from System of a Down. While you probably know him best for his roots in the metal scene, we take a deeper dive into Shavo’s other successful creative outlets - North Kingsley & 22 Red (and yes, of course we talk System of a Down too!)

We break down the origins of Shavo’s trap group North Kingsley, and how it differs from just another “rap/rock” mashup. Shavo discusses how COVID derailed the project, and what the future holds for the trap collective. We learn how Shavo came to become close friends with legendary lyricist RZA, and the System of a Down / Wu Tang Clan crossover that spawned from it.
