Confident women value their privacy and have boundaries on the type of information they share. When you know the value of being close to you, it's only natural to create some barriers so that only the people who put in effort can get the benefit of your closeness. Millennials have been on social media longer than anyone else on the planet - this means I was creeped out when I realized how many years' worth of my life was available publicly online. Rather than go private, I went off the grid! Deleting my Facebook entirely and cleaning out my Instagram posts down to just travel pictures and shining moments with friends or family.
