She Connects

Have you ever been so afraid of something you do almost anything to avoid it? Fear is an emotion and if we believe emotions were created by God, it would make one wonder what the purpose of fear is in our lives, right? 

I think God gave us that emotion to be used at appropriate times, but what He didn't intend for it to produce in our lives is fear of being obedient when He gives us clear direction in an area of our lives. Yes, fear can feel so intimidating. Yes, fear can be loud. But fear is also a liar as it applies to our faith and whether we will step out and pursue the things God has purposed for our lives.

Let today be your day to kick fear to the curb and rise to take steps toward your destiny!

Stop asking others for permission to have boundaries! Instead, give yourself permission to establish them in your life! It's not being mean or unkind! Boundaries help us stay in tune with the voice of God and help fulfill His plan for our lives. No one can show up in his or her life and fulfill all God has for them if they're exhausted from running here and there. Set your heart free to establish boundaries that work for you.

It's a good thing to learn how to ebb and flow in the seasons of life. Essentially, it's learning to understand what our capacity is for the current season we're in and leaning into that. In this episode, let's talk about paying attention to what we're saying yes to by asking if it is a "God-thing" or a good thing.

God's standard for leadership and service in His Kingdom here on earth is having faith in Him and His power at work in our lives, not a specific talent!
