It's time for a topic YOU suggested on social media! We've heard it said a lot more recently that "It's ok not to be ok." As true and freeing as that statement is, it's dangerous unless followed by "But it's not ok to stay that way."
This is the final part of a three part conversation on this topic with Sheila Jeffreys. Today we'll look at being picky with the people you allow to speak into your life.
A note about the heart here: These conversations are not meant in any way to simplify not ok seasons that come from chemical imbalances or deep seeded issues. There are situations that need more than a podcast can offer. But since our whole self is tied together, body, soul and spirit, it's never a bad idea to work to control the things we DO have control over, and always a good idea to keep our sights set on the Lord. We are here to walk with you and hold space in every way we can. But please see a podcast as help where it applies and not claims beyond that.
If you do need help, please feel free to reach out. We will recommend help where we can and stand with you where we can.

Discipline can be a word we don't want to think too hard on or be called out about. But it's something we all have to make a part of our lives if we want to live a balanced and effective life we're called to live.
Let today's word marinate and ask the Lord what areas of your life could use some change. (Psst... we all have those areas!) It feels hard in the beginning, but that's what community is for! Walking it all out together.
