Today, we're traveling back in time to visit the founding days of the church of Philippi, the beloved church of the apostle Paul, the one who received the loved letter that we now call the book of Phillipians! Would you believe though that this church plant sprouted on the banks of a river with a small band of women gathered to pray? God used everyday women in a powerful way as he establish this church, this beacon of hope whose testimony is still proclaiming joy and hope to students of God's Word!
