Who doesn't love a good old-fashioned romantic comedy? As someone who grew up on the classics like 10 Things I Hate About You, Pretty Woman, and How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days, there's never a wrong time to flick on a rom-com and fall in love with love once again. There's something magical about a story like that, even when it's cheesy, that fills my heart and makes my soul sing. The creatives at the Players Guild of Dearborn want to capture those warm, fuzzy feelings with their latest musical, She Loves Me! This theater thought it was the perfect time to bring this 1963 musical to its stage, with a wonderful cast of actors and creatives. We spoke with director Nathan Vasquez and actors Noah Derea and Brian Townsend about what it takes to put on a show such as She Loves Me here at the Players Guild of Dearborn!
In this exclusive Box Seat Babes interview, Vasquez, Derea, and Townsend talk about their respective roles in the production and how She Loves Me has pushed them in ways they've never been pushed before. From that classic romance story that so many people love, to catchy tunes that you just can't get out of your head, these three discuss what drew them to the project and why they think She Loves Me has cast a spell over audiences!
