Have you watched the news lately? I hope not, it's almost not worth it. But it's safe to say the climate out there is intense. And I'm not talking about the weather. Though the weather hasn't been that fun either (Hello, Florida Summer). A lot weighs on my mind when it comes to raising my children and hoping they can withstand the challenges they'll face, specifically teenage challenges. The other day I took my kids to Disney World. Cool, right? I live about two hours from there, so we go roughly once a month. We are pretty spoiled in that way. Just the other day while I was getting ready, I had YouTube running around in the background as I normally do. I'm a recovering YouTube addict, except I've never been officially diagnosed and I'm not recovering.... Anyway, this video came on of this Preacher, of a faith I don't belong to, was discussing the suicide of his child. His message really spoke to me on how to deal with tragedy. I've heard this message before, but it hit me different this time. Maybe it will for you too.

No. I didn't just deactivate my accounts. I deleted them. Permanently.

Let me prove it to you.
I'll tell you why I quit social media, and why I think you should too.
