Hey friend, I am so excited you are here today because we are going to dig into some lies you and I might have believed or are currently believing about the Bible. I interview author, speaker and fellow Podcaster, Jessica Hottle. We talk about our own battles with these lies in our own lives.

I like to summarize Psalm 1 this way:

If we learn to love the word of God, we will fall in love with the Word of God, Jesus Christ, Himself. Join me in today's episode as we find Jesus there.

Instead of blazing into a decade, year, month, week or day for that matter, I have learned I maintain a higher capacity after slowing down first. I am learning what gives me rest, rejuvenation and what inspires me to “get it done.”

These thoughts draw me into Scripture and I find myself in Psalm 1. Join me there as we slow down to see what God is speaking.

In this episode, I take the listener back to some writing from 2011 with reflections from today. I wrote Holes in the Mirror when I was a young mama of two tiny humans, trying to navigate the tradition from working mom to stay at home mom. In my search for delight and purpose, God used a sweet moment to teach me a lesson I would work to live out for my lifetime.
