The L.A. Theatre Works production of this late-1700's play of mistaken identities and drawingroom manners is fresh and funny even today. James Marsters is wonderfully funny in the lead role, and the entire cast is excellent.

This is a classic work that everyone should read. Goldsmith was a highly entertaining writer. The plot is engrossing, the characters are marvelous, the mastery of language is matchless.
