We all talk about #selfcare, but don't always realize when we experience trauma, especially from work or school. After Dr. Sha'la Fletcher tells us how her Ph.D. resulted in PTSD we found the nearest greasiest comfort food because dis tew much!

We're reflecting on our goals and most importantly forcing ourselves to celebrate our accomplishments. We also put our lofty goals out there for next year because there's nothing like publicly broadcasting and being held accountable, right...right?

The @PrincessOfStem herself #DrGOnTheMove hates being the "lonely only" and she lives her mission as Asst Dean and Prof. at Univ of Cincinnati College of Engineering and E.D. of The Gaskins Foundation. Beyond the titles, Dr. Gaskins knows supporting students goes beyond the classroom as the only Black woman in her role and one of few in the country. #SheTooSTEM and we love her for it!

This week we talk about that special nod that most Black people seem to just inherit out of the womb. Sometimes it's a simple "hey" but when you discover another Black woman in the workplace it can serve as a way to connect. Hey, girl. I see you!
