Welcoming Martha Yolanda Diaz, founder of Itacate Foods. In this episode we learn how Martha went from—Idea to Reality-Bringing Latin Food to the Backcountry. In 2020, during the great resignation, she quit her job, which was so stressful as a toxicologist without having anything lined up and at a crossroads. Itacate means food for the journey. With the lack of diversity in the outdoors in general, she didn’t see her culture reflected in the backcountry menu. She shares how she built a brand and business for adventurers with great taste and strong values and how she is preparing for the year ahead.
