You learned your whole life. You know your shit. You did the work. On yourself, and even with clients. Yet you still feel like a fraud.

So every time you post something, you’re secretly terrified that people will call you out for posing as an expert. You delay your offers, because you don’t feel like they are ready. You compare yourself to all these other experts and feel like a nobody next to them. And you are wondering: “When will I finally feel like an expert?”

I get this. More than you think.

I was asking myself the same question over and over again.

Then learning more, in hopes of feeling more secure. Did not work.

Practicing more, expecting to feel less of a fraud. That flopped as well.

Because learning more, working more, or giving more value won’t make you feel like an authority. There is an underlying emotional root cause for impostor syndrome that runs the whole show. When you do things on the surface, the feeling stays. Clear the root, and the feeling goes away.

So in this episode, I am giving you the root of the impostor syndrome that is — if I have to guess — the bane of your business existence. 😉 With also pointers on how you can shift it, for good.
