*If you haven't listened to Episode 7 "Hasina and her Cats" you should do that first, otherwise this episode won't make much sense and have some spoilers.
This weeks episode is a new feature on the Podcast called "Things You Might Want to Know!" Each story on "She Who Would Be King" has research, history and facts behind them, even though the stories themselves are make-believe.
In this first"Things You Might Want to Know!" we take a look at the background and facts that went into the story set in ancient Egypt: "Hasina and her Cats".
Something not mentioned in the in audio portion, is that all the characters have actual Egyptian names. If you remember, our hero Hasina helps care for The Temple of Cats in ancient Egypt. Everything is as expected, until one day...
Please Review Our Podcast It really helps it get off the ground and helps me to continue the podcast! Right now it has no contribution aspect and no ads! I really want to keep it ad free, but to do that, iTunes and others need to see those positive ratings and reviews. Please help Annakah, Sasha, Hasina and Wizard and new characters with your positive rating and reviews. I really appreciate it!
If you enjoy "She Who Would Be King" or your kids do, please share it as much as possible. Share the link on digital channels, tweet it, post it or just by tell parents and people who like kids and believe in strong, empowered girls. Play it for some kids!
If your child, niece, little or big sister has a story of their own, I'd love to read it! Each month I would like to be able to make a listeners story into a full live podcast. Please email any stories to [email protected]. You will retain ownership of the stories. I just hope to encourage creative young people.
Until the website is up, my contact email is [email protected]. I will read all submitted stories. I'd love to feature young listeners work as much as possible! I may take some liberties in grammar, etc. to get the work online.
Note: Looking for young people who would like to be on the podcast. I need volunteer voice talent in the west suburbs of Minneapolis, MN.
