TV shows and movies would have us think that cybersecurity is all hackers, criminal masterminds and the battle between them and the good guys.
However, cybersecurity threats are just as likely to arise from more simpler scenarios – especially as the world has largely moved to remote working.
With more and more employees working from home, working remotely or even becoming digital nomads, businesses are facing an increasing battle to keep their data secure and networks secured.
To talk us through cybersecurity and the trends we need to know is Gal Helemski, Co-Founder & Chief Innovation and Product Officer, PlainID.
During the last 20+ years, Gal has defined solutions for customers and created and defined project specs, technical documentation, presentations and training focused on identity and access management. Gal has been extremely influential in the identity space for most of her career. She earned a bachelor of science degree in physics and computer science from Bar-Ilan University after serving six years in the Israeli Defense Force’s prestigious Mamram computing unit.
With her accomplishments, Gal was named one of the “Top 25 Women Leaders in Cybersecurity of 2021” by The Software Report.
