John the Baptist was used as a forerunner, who came to prepare the way for Jesus.

This is the Christmas Story, the birth of the redeemer and savior. The focus this week is the human element of this event and how this chapter, in some cases, mirrors situations in our own lives.

We are to learn to be subjects of the Kingdom of God, but we still have to remember we are ALL still sons and daughters of the God.

God's wrath has been mentioned in the Bible 420 times, compared to God's Love being mentioned 400 times. God IS love but there is way more to God. We cannot limit God to our own views.

Grief is a normal human emotional reaction to a loss or change. But in some cases grief can cause unforgiveness that can make unable to move forward in our christian walk.

God demonstrated his own love for us, in that Jesus died for us. But that was not the end as seen on the road to Emmaus.

Paul wanted the Church (and us) to know that Jesus cares for us, covers us, adopted us and Loves us more than we will ever know.

When Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes, he gave the disciples the opportunity to give it to the people. He gave them a choice to give what they had to others and share with the next and so on. But who's was it it to give in the first place?

God created us to make choices on our own. We desire to make the right choices in our life but it is not always easy to keep our focus on Jesus.
