Now more than ever we must be prepared to stand against the enemy!   The battle is not ours! We are called to put on Jesus and allow him to fight for us!   Ephesians 6:10-20

" Man does not live on bread alone." (Luke 4:4b) 

Can we trust our lives to God? Can we base our hope on Him and His promises?

In an age where hope is under attack, this passage in Hebrews 6 gives us four reasons to trust in God. WE are so glad you are here! Today, Rev. Garth Crundwell will be speaking to us about the hope we have in Christ!

In life, we do things that cause regret, and wish for that second chance to fix things. The fact is, we all fail. We do things we regret. We say things we deplore. And we hurt people we love. This is especially true with our relationship to God! We make mistakes. So do you need a Second Chance? You've come to the right place! Second Chances are Jesus' specialty!

We have been spending the last few weeks talking about "Hearing From God" and this week we want to look at a passage of scripture that we believe God desires to speak to all believers!

 25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Mathew 11:25-30)

“Jesus’ yoke is easy and his burden is light not because it is not weighty or extreme. Followers of Jesus care more about Jesus’ kingdom than they do theirs. They share their possessions with the poor rather than simply accruing niceties for themselves. They pour their resources and their time into God’s kingdom. They bear one anothers’ burdens when they have plenty of burdens of their own already. Yet, all this seems “easy” because they have the joy of being with Jesus the whole time, who is of such supreme worth to us that even carrying a cross with Him seems “light.” (J.D Greear)

Have you ever been on the phone with someone, driving through  a specific town, and all of a sudden, you get disconnected, because you hit a dead spot?  Sometimes, that can happen in our relationship with others and especially with God. We can be really close with God and then.. Boom... we feel distant... But Why? We would love for you to join us this week as we continue in our series, "Hearing from God!  We will be looking at  James 4:1-10 and will talk about the #1 intimacy killer when it comes to any relationship...especially our intimacy with God!

Excited to be preaching about motivating men to act this Sunday! The last few weeks we have been talking about hearing from God and this week we are going to address some of the voices/noise that Men here that keep them from being obedient to Jesus!
