CAPTIVATING STORY!
Glenn's story about the heartbreaking childhood of Shelby is riveting. You follow along as Shelby runs for her life, all the while experiencing terrifying nightmares, brought on by her past. The story needs another round of editing, but it does not interfere with the captivating story.
Glenn did an excellent job of showing you the fear and pain this little girl goes through. As stated, heartbreaking, but with the help of her guardian angel, she just might make it home. Looking forward to more writing by this author.
Make some time for this book.
I am the type of reader who judges a book by how much I get lost in the story. This book pulled me in and wouldn't let me go even when I was done. I am glad there is a sequel because I need more of these characters! The ending was a little rushed for me but over all an engaging and heart felt book that just makes you want to go hug your whole family!

L. M. Glenn will leave you on the edge of your seat as you desperately pull for Shelby and enjoy the characters she meets along the way. It's a fast-paced emotional roller coaster of a read, and I feel it's a must-read for people who enjoy great reads and great authors. I can't wait to see what L.M. Glenn brings us next.

Shelby was a heart wrenching read. The abuse of children is staggering in modern day society. But some abused children, like Shelby, find a strength within guiding them through and allowing truth to be revealed.

This was an amazing story. The twists, turns, and adventures made this book a great read. It is fun, emotional, and thrilling to read. Author Lisa Glenn did a great job and I look forward to the next book.
