Speakers include Maria Rosario Jackson, Chair of the National Endowment for the Arts, and Shelly C. Lowe (Navajo), Chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The reception included winners of the National Humanities Medal: Joy Harjo (Muscogee), Robert Martin (Cherokee) and Rosita Worl (Tlingit). The winners were presented their medals in private ceremony with President Biden.
