Auditing Your Goals | Podmas Day 1

Hello everyone! Welcome to Podmas Day 1! I took a poll over on my YouTube community tab (which, if you aren’t following me on YouTube, get yourself over there and subscribe at www.youtube.com/shellysavestheday ) and creating podmas episodes was something that I said I was hoping to do this year.

I know that personally I may not be able to do a video every day like a lot of creators do which is typically referred to as Vlogmas, but I am trying to stretch myself and create more. Plus this gives me the opportunity to practice making podcasts which was one of my goals for this year.

Speaking of goals, this episode is all about facing the music when it comes to all of the goals that I set for myself at the beginning of the year and how I ended up doing. Now I know that the month and therefore the year are not over yet, but I can safely say that for the most part, where I am now is about where I will end up without too many dramatic changes. So this is a good time to reflect and show you that just because someone sets a goal, they may not achieve it, and that is perfectly ok.

I think the trick is that we just have to keep striving forward and trying to get better. Always be learning and never just settle with knowing that “we know enough”. I think the people that continue to push themselves and try new things end up being the ones who grow the most. I know for myself, this year was really about trying to figure out my own voice and point of view and now, trying to make a commitment that gets me closer to being that person.
