In this episode, I wax poetic about the music VIVIZ and Yuju released post-disbandment of GFriend. I first review the music Eunha, Umji, and SinB made together when they re-debuted as a trio in a new company. The songs are "Love You Like" and "Mirror" from their debut mini-album Beam of Prism. I wrap it up by reviewing two cuts off Yuju's Play, which is her solo debut. I review "Play" and "The Killa." Hope you enjoy! I am trying to do podcast episodes every two weeks while I look for a job...

Sorry for the long delay between episodes. My life has been quite busy with student teaching.
Despite current events, the great music ain't stopping. The theme of this episode is chill music. In this episode, I talk about songs from The Weeknd, Fromis_9, Hikaru Utada, and Aurora. Hope you don't mind the underlying darkness...

Sorry for the long wait. Student teaching is keeping me SO BUSY.
Hip-hop trio Epik High has little in common with dance-pop soloist Chungha aside from their cultural and geographic origin, but there is a reason why I am doing a double feature. I reviewing this set of songs because Korean musicians are quickly shattering sonic as well as cultural borders. The Latin music influence on their tracks points to a beautiful cultural exchange that should be praised.
Enjoy this very special review.

Welcome to my first minisode! I plan to do these minisodes weekly in between my full-length episodes. This time we are talking about ACTUAL K-pop. I talk about what makes (G)I-DLE's HWAA special and why you should check this song out. Hope that this is the start of something new!

I try something a little different this week...I call it Doom Streaming. I dissect why a song just....fails to deliver. Today's victim...er... artist is "UK K-pop" group Kaachi for their infamous debut song "Your Turn." This song shows how making a good Korean pop song is more than just being in the Korean language....
Where are we? What the HEY is going on? We're (metaphorically) back in jolly good England to discuss Imogen Heap's latest song, Last Night of an Empire. I discuss in minute detail what makes this track great and throw a few choice barbs at a certain White House occupant on his way out. Lastly, we ask the ultimate question: Is the Hunt over? Stay tuned for a little surprise at the end....
You can also now contact me on Twitter (@ShelterSongs) and Facebook (@ShelterNSongs).
Imogen Heap's Last Night of an Empire can be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, and Tidal.
You can directly buy and download the song on Itunes, Amazon Music, and Bandcamp.
I am now on my second episode of Shelter N' Songs! WOOHOO!
In this episode, I make a musical trek westward to the UK with Iglooghost and review his latest song, EŒ (DISK•INITIATE). In this episode, there are many questions. What did Iglooghost cook up in Dorset? What is an Eae? Why is Anthony Fantano up in my business? FIND OUT IN THE NEXT EPISODE OF SHELTER N' SONGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. You can now find me on Twitter at @ShelterSongs.
Welcome to my first published episode of Shelter n' Songs. In every episode, I review the music that I am listening to during this shelter in place. I review Mago by popular K-pop group Gfriend. It's got this magic about it..... I hope I put on a good show ...
