After celebrating the Last Supper with His disciples, Jesus invites His disciples to join Him while He prays to His Father. Judas betrays Him, He is captured and taken away. In all of it Jesus never loses His temper or gets angry. We need to see in this terrible event that Jesus is willing to do it all just for us! He’s the world’s Savior and also yours!

Jesus and His disciples take a walk from Jerusalem to the Mount of Olives. But as He speaks to them on the mount, He tells them that all of them will desert Him out of fear. This is the same thing that happens to us as we get caught up in the things of the world. We need to rely of His grace, power, and love each day. As we do, we’re able to handle anything that comes because He’s the One in control!

Mary from Bethany showed us what it means to focus on giving rather than getting. She did something absolutely incredible for Jesus. Thanks to Mary, we can boil life down to one simple word that’s life-changing! Be like Mary and Give! Give to God with all your heart with joy!

Today we get to see the glory and majesty of Jesus Christ! He goes to a high mountain with Peter, James, and John and He’s transfigured before them! This shows the power and being of the Son of God. The disciples also here from above, “This is My Son. Listen to Him.” Get caught up in His majesty!

Jesus came to Earth to suffer and die for our sins and the sins of the whole world, to show His power and care. That was his mission. Live each day sharing Him with everyone around you. That is what a missional life is all about.

Our God is a God of Life! Every life is precious to Him. Jesus took us from death to life as He died and rose again. What He asks of us is to honor the life He created in everyone. Let’s speak life and cherish it in everyone.

Jesus is asking His first disciples to join Him and believe in Him as the Savior. Even though they would be giving up everything to put their total trust in Him! This is the same message He tells us! “Get Out of Your Boat of comfort and security and trust in Me and follow Me immediately!” It’s a big task, but He’s promised He will be with you forever!

Jesus calls us to come to Him and see Him as our Savior and Lord. As we look at what He’s done for us, and believe it, we can’t stop proclaiming Him as our God and deliverer! Take some time to be in His Word and ask Him to guide you every step of the way as you follow Him with all your heart!
