Shepherd Talk

On this episode of Shepherd Talk, Lance sits down with Pastor Ray for a discussion about the innate dignity that we have as human beings created by God.

Next week, we continue the conversation about doctrines we believe by discussing what we believe about Man.

This week on Shepherd Talk, Pastor Ray discusses the doctrine of the scriptures and why they are so important to our faith.

In this episode, Pastor Ray will answer these questions and more:

- How do you choose what book of the Bible to study next?
- What do we mean when we talk about inerrancy?
- What should I do if I want to go deeper in my study of scripture and learn more?

If you enjoyed this episode, please don't forget to share it with a friend or family member so that they can be encouraged by what God has said in His word as well!

This week on Shepherd Talk we begin a new series focused on the importance of doctrine, which is simply what we believe!

In this episode, Pastor Ray will answer these questions:

- What scriptures show the importance of doctrine?

- When did knowing what these doctrines become so important to you?

- What would you say to the person that is intimidated by doctrine?

- How do we help people give doctrine away?

If you enjoyed this episode, please don't forget to share it with a friend or family member so that they can be encouraged by what God has said in His word as well!

To close out Shepherd Talk in 2020, Pastor Ray is joined again by Lance Griffin to recap some of the lessons the Church has learned in 2020 and then look ahead to what is to come in 2021.

• Do you make New Year's Resolutions?
• What do you think God was trying to tell the world in 2020?
• Should we really want to return to a certain level of comfort that may not have been healthy?
• How are we supposed to go into a new year after the kind of year we just had? What should be our focus?
• How did you choose "The Unsaved Christian" as the book to use for our January book study?
