Shepherd's Gate Church

There may be lots of reasons to say a prayer, but one of the most common is to ask God for help with a problem, especially one we can't fix ourselves. But why is it that prayer is often the last thing we think of to do? Join us this week and learn how to develop the critical habit of prayer in your life!

Good Enough To Move On. Have you ever heard this accronym? It can be helpful in some situations, but what about the story of our life? Are we content to settle for good enough in our relationships, families, or work? What about our faith? The story of Nehemiah in the Bible focuses on a man who couldn't settle for good enough, and found that God had way more in store for his life (and our's too) than "good enough."

Your life might be hard, but have you ever literally been shipwrecked? The apostle Paul in the Bible was. And that was just the tip of the iceberg (haha)! So when he writes about the trials and hardships of life, he's writing what he knows. His insights speak to us about the detours in our own lives and God's amazing way of transforming them into opportunities.

Direction- Where Are We Going? by Shepherd's Gate Church

Have you ever wondered what pastors and church staff actually do? You know, they don't actually live at the church even though they always seem to be around. And yes, they have actual work during the week, not just on Sundays. But what IS that work? The answer may surprise you, and challenge you in unexpected ways.

Some people grew up in church, others come to it later or not at all. So if church is something you want to know more about, What Is Church? is the series for you! This Sunday, we explore what church really is (hint: it's not a building) and what it means to be a part of one.
