It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves.

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

To be part of the family of God means having a purpose in this life that has eternal significance. As part of God's family, we are given spiritual gifts that we can use to grow and strengthen the family, which is the body of Christ.
