This title parallels the Sherlock Holmes story of part of the Five Orange Pips. Detroit MI has had The Amateur Mendicant Society since 1946 and is still active with over 70 members, meeting four times a Year.

Note that this "tome" is a grand total of 28 pages. And that's with very large type. This is just a mediocre Holmes short story that at best should have been included in a collection.
