Amy Allebest, is the host of "Breaking down patriarchy", and I was lucky enough to visit with her on a recent trip to Utah. I ask her about what inspired her to study more about this topic, and her experience growing up in a patriarchal system. She talks about what patriarchy is like in scriptural terms, and on to modern day living. We discuss how the next generation is changing gender roles and expectations. Amy shares what feminism  means by definition, and how we can create a community where people believe in equity. No two stories are the same when it comes to experiences in a patriarchal system, and Amy brings a unique perspective and knowledge to the topic.
