I'm deep diving into what marriage counseling has done for my husband and I, and how we've grown in many ways since deciding to go. We talk about what our goals were going into counseling, and how we've been actively working on different areas of our marriage since our last session. We go over our different communication styles, how we learned to "let go of the rope" when things don't go the way we want, and learning to compromise. We talk about how we've increased trust in our relationship and most recently, opened up more than ever before. More open conversations have led us to truly feeling like best friends. I hope that sharing this journey will inspire others to put in the hard work to make marriage amazing!
