Christina shares pieces of her story, how she decided to finish college, the substance abuse she endured and changed. She also tells us about lingering trauma, healing it and gives tips for self care. Christina is a graduate of Lock Haven University with a degree in Criminal Justice. She is also the founder of the Facebook Page, Damsels-N-Distress, which provides information for victims/survivors of domestic violence.

Alisa talks with Courtney Petersen, founder of SPEAK Cosmetics, about why she was inspired to share women’s stories through makeup. Courtney was in an abusive relationship with a police officer and tells us some of her experience and how she was able to leave for good.

Kayla Hayes talks with Alisa today about living life after domestic violence from a drastic move, to a huge following on TikTok to experiencing loneliness and searching for who she is.
