International events are brought to the shores of the Isle of Man, with the battle between the British Royal Navy Commander John Elliott and Captain Francois Thurot of the French Royale on 28th February 1760 - and regret in the Island, where Thurot was known and liked. Michael Winter tells us about his love of film and connection with Films In Peel. Congratulations to Holly McRae on becoming the Manx Youth Bard. Bridge Carter tells us a little of the duties associated with that, and Manx Bard Annie Kissack reads her poem, 'Tap, Tap, Tap'.
