Entries for the Manx Music, Speech and Dance Festival - the Guild - close on Saturday 9th February. Festival Secretary, Dr Jacqueline Yates, takes us through some of the new classes and other changes this year.

The second of the events to celebrate Yn Cheshaght Ghailckagh 120 will be taking place in St John's Methodist Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday 13th February. We hear about that, and also an historic recording from 1906 of the Manx Language Society's first Secretary, William Quayle of Ballamillghyn, Captain of the Parish of Lonan.
