Dr. Waite is one of NYC’s leading advocates for equity in our educational system. As a clinical professor at Fordham University, she teaches future educational leaders how to analyze racial inequalities and equity challenges occurring in our school districts. In March of 2018, she was appointed by NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio to the Panel for Educational Policy (PEP). In her role as a member of the PEP, Dr. Waite uses her voice to increase the levels of both transparency and accountability that students and their families deserve in the educational decision making process.
