Diane Arnold is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who has given her life to see families restored.  In this episode, Diane & her husband, Neal, talk about how we need to war for our families in this era, because families provide the foundational relationships, which give a person:

Sexually abused as a child, Beau became a depressed addict with a compulsive lying streak. He hurt his family deeply by attempting to fill the emptiness inside himself with prescription medication. However, no matter how many drugs he took, he was always dissatisfied. It wasn't until he entered Rehab that Beau gave his life over to God. From that point on, God began to transform Beau into a firey man after His own heart.

No longer a man who hungered after narcotics, Beau became a man that hungered after the Word and power of God. Soon thereafter, he began having radical encounters with Jesus, one of which lasted for three hours, where he saw the face of Jesus. He has never been the same since!

In this episode, Patricia does a brilliant job of detailing key characteristics of this new era. She shares how the changes are so absolute that we can never go back to how things were before. In the context of much division (national, racial, and also amongst Christians), deception is flourishing. It is a time to correct errors in the prophetic movement – not to stifle or quench the prophetic movement – but to mature it until it looks more like Jesus ("The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy" Rev. 19:10).

Patricia talks at length about how to mature the prophetic movement by ensuring that there is connection to all of the 5-fold gifts of Ephesians 4. She expounds on the importance of submission and how we can learn from our mistakes so we can increase accuracy.

We are in a season that is pregnant with revelation. The previous 70 years (1950-2020) was marked by themes of grace and glory. But in this new season (which is already here), we have entered a time of war. One lives very differently in a time of war than in a time of peace. It is time to be vigilant and attentive, as well as much more disciplined and flexible. 

Recently, Patricia had a vision of 2 Tim. 3, where there was a magnifying glass over this chapter Scripture, with the sun shining light on this text. The whole chapter is entitled: "Difficult times will come."  Even though this is what is coming, we must not be afraid of challenging times.

Patricia explains that almost everything in the Bible all occurred in challenging times – Moses, Elijah, David, Daniel – all these stories were all written in challenging times. So in order to prepare for what is coming, we will see things such as:

• A new level of "tarrying" – waiting of God for instructions
• The Person of Jesus becoming the focus again
• Both the "kindness and severity" of God

The beginning of this new era is seeing the Scripture of Luke 12:2-3 come alive.  Everything hidden is being exposed. Nothing will be kept secret. There is going to be exposure of both evil and of giftings in our lives that we haven't even be aware of. Patricia shares how things came alive in her 50s that she had never engaged in prior to that time. So be ready for God to expose giftings and callings that you have never walked in before!  

Everyone knows Patricia King as the prophetic talk show host of XPMedia. She is an innovator of prophetic evangelism, mentorships, a conference speaker, an author, and even a serial entrepreneur. But how did Patricia King actually meet Jesus? Was she always this gifted and confident, always so spiritual and "tuned in?"

Patricia King's parents were "party people" and, hosted wild drinking parties every weekend. But when Sunday morning rolled around, they would send Patricia and her siblings to Sunday school so they could sleep in. It was at church that Patricia began to fall in love with the Lord, and just kept wanting more and more of God. She would sneak into the adult services so she could bask in God's presence. She often stopped by the pastor's office during the week, since the church was on her way home from school. During these times, the pastor would stop what he was doing and teach Patricia about Jesus.

As Patricia grew older, she moved on from her church going days and turned to partying. She remembers doing drugs, smoking and getting drunk at parties at the young age of 13. This continued all through high school, and when she graduated, she decided to become a nurse.

However, in nursing school, she continued her partying lifestyle and was a raped couple of times. One rape was due to peer pressure, but the other was a violent rape. This caused Patricia to livein shame. The shame would overwhelm her emotions and build up till she exploded in moments of rage where she would do things she didn't mean to do. Her emotions were out of control.

1. the possible future, 
2. the probable future, 
3. the plausible future

5. A Black Swan event (an event that no one sees coming that has a major impact)

Mark goes on to share that we are currently in a black swan era. The pace of change is changing so rapidly that the next decade will be very disruptive. Using the anachronym "G.R.AI.N.y," (Genetic, Robotic, Artificial Intelligence, Nano Technology), he shares how the present and future will see much:

• Social upheaval, 
• cultural upheaval, 
• rapid change
• family structures shifting
• etc…

Therefore, Mark concludes that the future belongs to the Spirit-filled/prophetic communities. Pentecost is going to become an adjective, not a noun.  The fastest-growing church in the world is Iran. There are more Christians in China in the underground Church than there are communists in the communist party. The suffering of the Church is producing Christ-likeness in His people.  The arch of history is moving toward the summing up of all things in Jesus. He is the beginning and the end. The end is not an event, it is a Person. 

There are two things we will need to move through this new era:

1. Hope
2. Adaptive resilience (the ability to bounce forward)

We need to prophecy "the testimony of Jesus" because all things are leading to Jesus Himself. 

The Conversion of Mark Chironna is like a spiritual vignette from The Godfather Trilogy. Raised on Staten Island, New York (where the actual Godfather movie was filmed), Mark grew up in the neighborhoods of many of the real-life characters on which the Godfather movies were based. 

Somewhere in the late 'teens' of the 20th century, Mark's grandparents came over on the boat from Italy to New York city. Mark's father was actually born on the boat.  What made a major difference in the family was that Mark's great uncle had been radically converted to Christ and started the first Italian Protestant Chapel in all of New York city. It was almost as if these first-generation Italians were either the leaders of the Italian Protestant Chapels, or else they were part of the mob. What makes the matter even stranger is that all the Italians ate Sunday dinners together, no matter whether you were in the church or the mob. 

Hear Mark's difficult journey to become a full-time preacher of the gospel. Initially, he desperately wanted to become a singer like Frank Sinatra. But, in order to do that, he knew he would have to sell out to the mob. So, he set up a meeting with one of the 'godfathers' to ensure his success. The night before the day of his scheduled meeting, the head of this family was shot to death at the very same table Mark was scheduled to sit at to sign his life away! This was the beginning of his turn to Christ.
