In Matthew 13, Jesus tells a parable of a mustard seed and yeast.
Both reinforce the idea that the Kingdom of God starts small, but when it’s planted and worked in, it becomes significant.
What it becomes is not what you see at the beginning.
The invitation to us as followers of Jesus is to plant the seed of the Kingdom, let the yeast of the Kingdom work in us and through us, and trust that God’s Kingdom will expand and grow.
Because the Kingdom of God carries its own ability to grow and flourish.
So, plant the seed. Let the yeast of Kingdom work all in and through you.
And watch as God does more than you ever imagined.
