What do you do when you don’t understand where God is taking you?

Bishop B. K. Watts concluded his powerful sermon series, “Have You Got Good Religion,” teaching from Micah 6:8 and Matthew 24:3–14. He reminded us that true religion is not found in rituals or lip service. It is seen in how we live.

God requires that we do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him.Bishop challenged us to check our hearts.

Are we standing up for justice in a world full of division?

Are we showing mercy when bitterness is easier?

Are we walking humbly, with love that does not grow cold?

He reflected on the words of Pastor Martin Niemöller, who once said, “Then they came for me, and there was no one left.” The message was clear. Faith that is silent in the face of injustice is empty.

True discipleship calls us to compassion, courage, and conviction.As Bishop reminded us, real religion is not about formality.

It is about faith that moves, love that acts, and hearts that surrender.

He came out the gate with the story of Zacchaeus (yes, the short man in the tree!)—but made it clear this wasn’t about height. It was about hunger. Sometimes, if you want more from God, you’ve got to be willing to shift—shift your passion, position, and priorities.
