When many hear the story of Jesus rising from the dead, it sounds crazy to them.  After all, it is not everyday that we hear of dead people climbing up out of the ground and leaving cemeteries!  But what if there is reasonable proof that points to Jesus rising from the dead?  Would it make a difference in what we believe and how we live?  Join us as we begin this new series by examining some of the historical evidence before considering the hope of the resurrection for our world!

We all face temptations in this life.  The choices we make in the face of such tests often set the course for our lives affecting both us and others for better or worse.  In this message, we will discover what we need to pray and do in order to let God “lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil”! (Scripture References: Matthew 6:9-13; Mark 14:32-42; James 1:13-15)

Some of us take our daily needs being met for granted, thinking that we are capable of taking care of ourselves.  Others of us are struggling to just get by.  In this message we will grapple with our dependency upon God as well as His loving concern for our needs and His faithfulness to meet them!

But what if the secret to true contentment is found in giving God what He wants?  Come explore this life-giving perspective with us!  (Part 3 of our Lenten Sermon Series)
