What started off as a love affair between a young, passionate girl cheering loudly from the stands at Arden Street has developed into an unbreakable, lifelong bond between President Sonja Hood and the North Melbourne Football Club.Former CEO of The Huddle and GM of Community Engagement, Sonja Hood stepped into the role as President of North Melbourne at the start of 2022. From securing Alistair Clarkson as Senior Coach, to overseeing the Roos' first AFLW premiership, Sonja has faced the good times, and challenging ones, with one overarching goal in mind: to brings success back to Arden Street, and home to North Melbourne where it belongs.In this episode of Shinboner Stories, Sonja recounts her earliest memories of life as a North Melbourne supporter, what led her to take on a more formal role in the inner sanctum and her hopes for the future of the Roos.
