be a long road for individuals that are not willing to forgive. A failed
business, marriage or friendship can be devastating to anyone. So, what is the
path that will lead to recovery? In
today’s episode I discuss the process for recovery that will lead to inner
healing.
Forgiveness is a major
step to completing that process. In Matthew 11:25-26, as Jesus was teaching his
disciples how to seek God in prayer, he emphasized the need to forgive others. So,
we must follow the same example and forgive the offenses of our brother and
sister in order for God to forgive us.

As a teenager in church, I remember hearing the Deacon call, "Prayer Time" as we sat in the basement socializing before service. We knew it was time to wrap-up our conversations and get upstairs to seek God. As a adult in the marketplace, I've learned that prayer time occurs throughout the day. I have to seek God in everything that I do, because God's timing is crucial to being successful.
Today, I am discussing the "Praying Mindset," based on the scriptures in Ephesian 6:18 and Psams 141:2. As Christians in the marketplace prayer is a communication tool that must be used all day every day. As entrepreneurs and professionals, God can use us to impact our environments and help other.

Many of us are familiar with the phrase, "We are more than conquerors," which is based on Romans 8:37. We repeat the scripture in times of travail, but what are the traits of a conqueror. Today I focus on winning ways, and what Christians in the marketplace must do to truely be conquerors. I look at I John 5:4 and again at Romans 8:37.
Yes we can believe that we are more than conquerors, but we know our faith alone is not enough. We must take the proper steps to get us to that point.

As entrepreneurs and professionals we must follow a process for product or service creation. Building, testing and learning are a part of the creative process. Likewise, as Christians we have a simular experience. We build a strong foundation in the Word of God, our faith is tested by trails and we learn more about ourselves and God.
James 1:3-4 (NIV) are the scriptures that I am speaking from this week. Perseverance is a key characteristic that will help us to reach our full potential and ultimately profit from our experience. Profiting is more than financial gain, but it ensures that we have a solid foundation to overcome anything. In essense, we become more than conquerers and built to dominate our space.
