As we're becoming more and more clear and solidified on what we're building and how and where we are to build it, get clear and solidified on that God has chosen YOU to build it. With your personality, with your gifts, with your skillset, and with your ideation.  He understands it all, and He still chooses you!

So don't shrink back from that. Be who you are. Like that person. Know that God does! And know that He understands that person. Do what He's called you to do and BE YOURSELF while doing it.

Be clear on who you are, how your ministry (and anointing) has changed, and what God wants to do with it. Be very clear, as best you can, on how He's going to use it and then let Him.

A humble introduction to my first book, Ishshahs Basic Cornerstones for Marriage.

We all sometimes lose our way, get sidetracked, and become irritated with how other people seem to be advancing and succeeding. When this occurs, you and I need to take a moment to redirect ourselves and get ourselves together; back into alignment with the Leader. 

If you're there now, don't stay there. Get yourself to the threshing floor this weekend and find new focus, gumption, and peace about moving forward.

It's IMPERATIVE that you know for sure who you are. 

There are so many things being divinely reshaped and repositioned that we need to be sure we are who God says we are and can do the things He says we can do. Get your assurance, reassurance, confidence, confirmation, validation, support. . . whatever you need from HIM today. Make sure that you know that you know that you know - even if you already know.

Regardless of our titles, gifts, and even our flaws we have been created, called and chosen to help. Submit everything that you are to God (and everything that you're not) and let Him use you to bless someone's life today.

Don't overthink it. Just submit.

We all need to have and be clear on our "mission statement." And as the Lord is redefining this ministry, I am gaining new clarity every day.

If you're unsure of your identity and/or His vision statement for your life, now is the time to get it. The Lord is patiently and graciously issuing the certainty we need to make sure that we are still current with our calls, and that we're not missing out on any of the restructuring that's going on.

And though the wording may change, the true intent to honor God, help people, and be a blessing in the lives of others never will.

Proverbs 18:22 says, "He who finds a [true] wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord." Again, the Hebrew word here for "wife" is ishshah; the same as it is for woman. And in this verse, we see that "wife-hood" is already within the woman. Capability is already her portion. So by the time she meets destiny, she's already used to living her life according to divine design - bearing out her calling (as a wife).

And, because she's already spent time with the Lord being built up by Him (Genesis 2:22):

Just as this ishshah was already prepared for her destiny when God brought her to it, so are you and I already prepared for the opportunities the Lord has for us. In this season, don't back down from those opportunities that the Lord is presenting to you. Take the promotion. Say yes to the dress (and the man!). Rebuild the business. Begin the ministry. Develop the website. Enroll in the course. Sell the house. Buy the house! Adopt the child. Join the church. . .

God's very Soul loves our souls. And He's gifted us to freely extend this same grace to love the soul of our spouses. Just think about what Adam said when he first saw Eve. The Word says that he exclaimed that she was woman! No introduction or explanation was needed or given. He simply took one look at this new creation and knew exactly who she was, why she was, and how she came to be (Genesis 2:23). The very manifestation of her before him ministered to his soul - and she had yet to say a word.

Today ask the Lord to show you how you can generate this same type of response in your husband; regardless of how many days or years you've been married. Ask the Lord to help you to know that your presence, your talents, and your individuality are enough to help meet his needs.

Let me remind you that you have a divine ability, right, and even a divine summons to help those who either can't speak up for themselves (Proverbs 31:8, 9), don't want to talk to the Lord (Psalm 78:32), or don't know that they need to talk to Him about their needs (Genesis 2:20). You are called to stand in the gap (Ezekiel 22:30); to help make up the difference; to fill a need. 

The Lord has blessed you with an anointing to do just that. You are a blessing, and you are capable of making things better simply by showing up. And sometimes, you might not even have to speak a word (Job 2:13, Isaiah 42:2).

Do NOT underestimate the power of simple presence. After all, even though you know He's there with you all the time, don't you feel better when God MANIFESTS His Presence in your atmosphere? So:
