Marriage is so important. And remembering to honor it, to be loyal in it, and to reflect the glory and goodness of God through it is key. We do this individually, as a husband or a wife, and we do this collectively as one unit.

Divorce was never God's best for the two people that He brought together; to (patiently) help balance and uplift and protect each other. If that's something you're considering today, please let Ishshah Ministries join you in prayer as you patiently rethink and hear God's heart again on the subject of commitment. We're not here to give you unGodly, unsolicited counsel, but to pray with you through these tough times.

Marriage, much like the world, has different seasons; some colder and with more frostbite than others. But stay encouraged. May God bring understanding, enrichment, clarity, and peace ALL THE MORE as you pray for the success of your marriage, your spouse, and yourself.

Praying God's Word and Love over our husband's salvation, faith, emotional heath, deliverance (and more) are ALL crucial, God-glorifying prayers. And He hears them. All. But it's also just as important to remember the roles that the Lord has carved out for each of us in the marriage. And it's even more important that we pray for a humble and obedient heart and mind to adhere to them.

Today, we pray Scripturally for just that. The marriage, covenant, Godly relationship - whatever you call it - that we have with our spouses is just as important to God as our individual deliveranceS. Because how we relate to one another is meant to be but a small representation of how God relates to and loves on and connects with us.

God has given us this partnership and we must remember to prayer for understanding in it; understanding that tells us who we are (and who we are not). Understanding that delineates who our spouses are (and are not). And understanding on how we can enhance the other person, and subsequently the unit as a whole,  through God's humble but powerful Spirit. We're asking for that understanding today, in Jesus name. Join us!

I know its been said that men aren't emotional creatures, but I disagree. 

Our husbands, big strong men that they are, get emotional too. Why would we think they couldn't, or shouldn't? God gave them feelings and emotions, too. They feel pain, happiness, and times of doubt and confusion just as we do.

Perhaps they don't easily permit or admit to these feelings, but God-issued emotions and feelings are still there. And isn't this just the type of person who needs help the most: the one who can't acknowledge or admit that they need it? This is where we as their ishshahs come in.

Today, we're praying for the overall well-being of our husbands thoughts, feelings, and emotions. We're asking God to help our men receive His permission to address and process those thoughts, feelings, and emotions (that they would otherwise suppress), right at His throne.

We pray for our husbands to know more of God's joy, happiness, and praise. May they come to know this fresh and chasmic delight in the Lord.

Praising Him brings his Presence, and in His Presence is joy to the fullest (happiness, glee, gladness, delight, giddiness, excitement, cheerfulness, joviality, high-spirit, felicity, well-being, merriment, gaiety, pleasure, contentment and SO much more).

Joy. Happiness. Glee. Gladness. Delight. Pleasure. Satisfaction. 

All of these words has the potential to conjure up a smile. Our prayers today were prayed to help our husbands do more of that. SMILE. Today we pray simple and quick but powerful prayers to loose more of God's joy, happiness, glee, gladness, delight, pleasure, and satisfaction in to the hearts of our men.

May the joy from God ALWAYS be a strengthening agent to them.

Sensed a soft Spirit of praise this morning and decided to peer inside that door. The more I pushed that door open, the stronger and brighter the Presence of the Lord grew in my atmosphere.

And so I just rejoice that I'm on THIS side of heaven, and that I know the Almighty, powerful God. I'm thankful to have a seat and a place in the Kingdom of Heaven. And I'm so very thankful that God chose to sit with me today. Rejoice with us and allow Him to do the same for your Saturday. It's a happy one!

Jonah 2:9 reminds us that "Deliverance belongs to the Lord!" 

As wives, we know that our husbands - as great and wonderful and capable and strong and sure as they are - still struggle. They wrestle with desires, thoughts, memories, insecurities, and every day crises that are designed to take their mind and focus off of the assured victory that Christ has laid out for them.

Today, we "raise our prayer" for these men (according to 2 Kings 19:4) , and trust in our "Tower of Deliverance" to show them mercy (2 Samuel 22:51), and to anoint them afresh today (Psalm 92:10). Because we trust that no matter what evils or defeat our men may face today, the God of deliverance assures us that He'll deliver our husbands out of them all (Psalm 34:19 / 2 Chronicles 20).

Ishshah, declare the entire joy and victory of Isaiah 12 after praying with us!

With some many sights, sounds, previous experiences, and inner desires, a Godly life is not always easy to pursue or maintain. But it can be done. It's never an easy journey, and it's not always a smooth ride, but through prayer with faith in Jesus Christ'  and the Word of GOD, such a life can be accomplished.

As wives, as HELP-MEETS, we've been empowered and encouraged to pray for such a lifestyle for our husbands. They'll never truly prosper and succeed or live such a Godly life without the Word of God. That's where our prayers come in. We want our husbands to know God in more profound and sure ways; and speaking and petitioning Scripture over their lives is one way to bring about such a maturing change. We want their lives to advertise their Christ before their mouth EVER says a word. We want their minds to know that pursuing a Godly life won't mean they'll always have a constant high, but it does mean that they'll always have a Constant, Holy Support.

The power of a Godly life is found only in Christ. We're praying the truth of Who He is over our men today; that they may know such a power.

Join us? Remember the pronouns (husbands, wives, etc.) used in these prayers are not bound to your faith. You can pray these same Scriptures for whomever Holy Spirit has placed upon your heart and mind.

We're continuing in prayer for the men in our lives; asking God to bring upon them a more defined, more passionate, and more purposeful Godly lifestyle. We're asking today that the Lord would remind our husband's that there's meaning and delight in living a (more) Godly life. 

We're also asking Holy Spirit to remind them of their callings and predestined purposes today. In Jesus name.

As ishshahs, we want the righteousness of Christ to more fully envelop and develop the lives of our men. 

So today we ask God to release such a righteousness over every aspect of their beings. We pray for them a deeper desire to see, speak, listen to, consume, and participate in the more Godly things of Christ. This prayer time was so full, and I hated to stop. But we'll continue with the prayers for more righteousness and Godly living tomorrow.
