Over the past few years, Shinedown fronted by vocalist Brent Smith have released music that has talked honestly about mental health and addressed systemic racism (a Smith & Myers song “Not Mad Enough”). Now, on their upcoming 7th studio album Planet Zero out July 1st on Atlantic Records, Shinedown is taking on the forces that keep us divided at a time when we need to move forward together, alongside sharing a message of hope, perseverance, and compassion. Planet Zero is a warning about our potential future if we continue down the divisive path we are on.
